Dana Hood MA LPC NCC
Dana received her Masters in Counseling from Central Michigan University and opened her private practice a short time after. Prior to this she was involved in many different career paths, from Aquatics Director to Event Coordinator to a Red Cross Health and Safety Coordinator. After participating in many different fields she found the path that was made for her in Counseling. She truly believes that by working alongside many different people and different paths it has allowed her to see the many positives in all people.

Her training and experience thus far have brought her to have a passion for working with children, teens and adults who are experiencing life changes, relationship concerns, gender identity, depression and anxiety.  She has also been trained in working with Perinatal Mood Disorders with women who have recently given birth or who are pregnant and Play Therapy.

Dana also has done extensive work with teens and adults who have experienced or are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts and self harm.
